High Achieving Individuals & Families

People often wonder whether therapy is only for moments when something is wrong. The reality is that therapy is often most useful when life itself has become demanding and difficult to navigate alone, and can remain a beautiful and important source of support at different points over the lifetime. High-pressure roles, public visibility, complex family systems, and significant professional or financial responsibility can quietly strain emotional well-being and relationships over time. Therapy can be a safe and consistent space to alleviate that.

I work with executives, professionals, and individuals in positions of influence who are navigating intense expectations, high-stakes decision-making, and environments where stepping away is often not a realistic option. These roles can be exciting and meaningful, but they can also fuel anxiety, perfectionism, fear of failure, and a chronic sense of pressure. Over time, the demands of work and responsibility often spill into personal relationships, leaving people feeling isolated, misunderstood, or disconnected from themselves.

In addition to professional pressure, many of my clients come from families with multigenerational wealth, shared businesses, or a degree of public visibility. These family systems often carry complicated dynamics—blurred boundaries between personal and professional roles, longstanding patterns of conflict or loyalty, and unspoken rules shaped by money, power, or reputation. Trust can feel fragile, motives can be hard to discern, and it may be difficult to find spaces where your concerns are taken seriously rather than minimized.

My role is to offer a grounded, warm, confidential space where these realities can be explored honestly and without judgment. I take a direct, no-nonsense approach and am comfortable naming unhealthy patterns when they arise—whether within individuals, relationships, or family systems. I also bring warmth and an irreverent sense of humor to my work, and my clients often appreciate having a place where they do not need to perform, manage impressions, or question whether they are being handled differently because of their position or resources.

More money, more problems

There is no hierarchy of suffering in my work. Wealth, success, or notoriety do not insulate people from anxiety, relational pain, or generational trauma. In fact, money and influence often act as amplifiers, intensifying existing challenges and placing them under a brighter spotlight. Parenting, marriage, sibling relationships, and extended family dynamics can become especially complicated when financial decisions, inheritance, or shared enterprises are involved..

Together, we work on setting and maintaining healthier boundaries, understanding your role within complex dynamics, and developing greater emotional clarity and resilience. The goal is not to dismantle the life you have built, but to help you live it with more steadiness, agency, and connection.I will work hard for you to feel seen, understood, and valued, and never judged while also still challenging you to grow.  I want for you to see your own role in the dynamics in your life, and feel a sense of confidence and self-assuredness that you can handle these unique challenges as they inevitably arise.
